Bring yoga to your workplace and offer employees an opportunity to rejuvenate and relax during their lunch hour or before or after work.  The deep breathing and relaxation employees practice in yoga can help them return to work refreshed and renewed. A regular yoga practice also aides in stress reduction and improved concentration. Many employers, of all sizes and industries, are taking a proactive approach to employee wellness by offering yoga in the workplace.

Yoga is an ancient practice that promotes physical and mental health, well-being, and personal growth.  It can help us develop an awareness of the effects of stress in our lives and help us learn skills to manage that stress.

    Getting a Class Started at Your Office or Organization...

    To inquire about bringing yoga to your workplace, please complete the contact form. We will begin by setting up a meeting so that I can see if the space you plan to use for yoga classes will be suitable and to discuss specifics about your employees' needs.  Classes can be held in a conference room or any large, quiet area free from distractions.

    Class Format: A typical class lasts between 45 minutes to one hour.  The first few minutes are spent sitting quietly practicing deep breathing, allowing the mind to become more calm and quiet.  Next, students will move through a series of postures (asanas) to stretch and strengthen muscles.  Finally, we end with a deep guided relaxation allowing all tension to release.

    No Experience Necessary:  Classes will be taught with the beginning student in mind.

    General Information: Classes are held once or twice per week in 6 or 8 week sessions.  A group of 8 or more participants is recommended. Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion and bring a yoga mat.

    Cost: $80 per participant for an eight-week session held once per week.  Some companies
    subsidize the classes and pay a portion, while others simply provide the space and the opportunity.  Companies subsidizing the entire cost may be charged a flat hourly rate for large groups to help control costs. Please contact me for additional pricing information.
